My story

I discovered my love for water in my childhood when I attended summer swimming courses at the outdoor pool in Reinach/BL (by the way: with the same badge as today). I had so much fun that I found "my" sport that  I wanted to continue swimming after all the basic badges. I   swam for a few years as a teenager in the SLRG Basel, which I liked because I was able to improve my   swimming   skills and the whole thing was still filled with meaningful and useful content.

For me, water is the best element of all. It is so diverse in its appearance, you feel like you are in another world under water. Noises are muted, the light is different, the physical feeling is light, floating or bathed, gliding. In the water I  feel   free, external  influences are weakened and the perception of my own body is more immediate and focused._ 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

When I became a mother for the second time, I attended parent-child swimming at the then Basilisk swimming school and was "discovered". The owner of the swimming school hired me practically on the spot and that's how my career as a swimming teacher took its course.

I soon realized that I particularly enjoy bringing people of all ages closer to water and promoting their abilities.  No matter whether you are a beginner or want to perfect your swimming style - I offer individual courses in which you or your children will learn to swim efficiently and/or improve your skills. My courses for children are playful and offer the opportunity to experience the water without any worries and having fun. Adults appreciate the  individual   promotion, competence and experience combined with humor. Jumping into cool water should always be a great experience!
